In Memory of Dennis

In Memory of Dennis will take place on June 9, 2013 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the J&D Family Restaurant. 

This event is being held In Honor of Dennis Allaire who passed away in June 2012. There will be an appetizer and dessert tasting, silent auction, and raffle. The evening will include a balloon release at 7:30 pm. Guests are invited to tie a message on a balloon or write a loved one's name on a balloon. Families are welcomed to bring a framed photograph of a loved one to set up in a display area.

In addition, this night further remembers Peter Connell of Smithfield, a longtime sports writer for The Valley Breeze Observer newspaper and lector at St. Philip Church, who passed away Oct. 2012.

Our event is just one week before Father's Day. This night is one of remembrance for these two dads and all those stricken by pancreatic cancer. And to celebrate the survivors.

Raffle and silent auction prizes include Red Sox tickets, Alex & Ani jewelry, gift certificates, golf packages, Keurig coffee maker, and more. 

Tickets are available for purchase at J&D Restaurant, Johnston; over the phone with a Mastercard or Visa at 401-231-3660 and tickets will be held at the door to pick up that evening; or at Kountry Kitchen Restaurant, Greenville. Tickets at the door are $30. 

75% of door ticket sales, 100% of silent auction proceeds, 100% of raffle ticket sales, and 100% of the general donations will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
