Another: "A classmate let me know you were posting concerns about Davis residents running the Boston Marathon. I actually got a stress fracture about a month ago and did not attend. But my heart goes out to all those folks that were there and I hope everyone else is safe and sound." - Amber

Another update: "Most all of the Davis entrants are from the Golden Valley Harriers Running club (we had 18 attend Boston this year) All of us are accounted for. I finished about 72 minutes before the explosions and was back in my hotel room when it happened. Another friend was staying at the Lennox across the street from the finish line and witnessed the aftermath from his hotel room. I believe two friends were unable to finish."

Here's an explanation of how it works, via the Dixon Police Department. It's a little bit convoluted, but it makes sense:
"Technically he WAS placed under arrest and transported to the Solano County Jail. But because the Solano DA does not prosecute stand-alone public intoxication cases, the guy would later have been released (after sleeping it off) under the provisions of 849(b) Penal Code. From a legal standpoint on a “rap” sheet and public record, it is NOT an arrest—it is a detention only."
So he was arrested, but since the DA doesn't prosecute these cases, his name isn't released, which why his name doesn't appear here.

For anybody who gets confused about the schedule: It says the day of each schedule right below the slideshow. After the map, the first two slides are Friday, next two are Saturday and the last two are Sunday.
