Help Break The Case: The Johnston Police Department is seeking help in identifying two men suspected of using counterfeit bills at stores in Johnston and Smithfield. Library Events: Continuing its full slate of vacation week activities, Marian J. Mohr Memorial Library hosts "Turn Your Friend Into A Snowman" from 11 a.m. to noon. Trash and recycling on regular schedule next week; activities at the library, looking ahead to school vacation; healthy eating at Whole Foods, and today in history: The King earns gold for gospel.
Regular Trash/Recycling Pickup: The Town of Johnston is notifying residents that next week's trash and recycling schedule will not be changed because of the President's Day holiday on Monday, Feb. 21. All pick-ups will follow the normal schedule. Today At Mohr: The library hosts a couple of regular features: Storytime for 3- to- 5-year-olds at 10:30 a.m. and Reader's Lair for students in grades 6 to 12 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Scheduled for discussion is Gone by Michael Grant.
