Computer Class: The Johnston Senior Center is scheduled to hold an Introduction to Computers class today at 10 a.m. This class is scheduled to be held every Thursday. RI Troopers Remind Drivers To Be Safe Traveling This Week

State Police Out In Force Thanksgiving holiday.

  The Rhode Island State Police, through funding obtained by the Department of Transportation Office on Highway Safety, will be participating in the national “Click It or Ticket Campaign” during the Thanksgiving Holiday.  The primary message is: Buckle Up America, Every Trip, Every Time. In an effort to prevent highway tragedies during the holidays, the Rhode Island State Police is reminding Rhode Islanders that troopers will be maintaining high visibility throughout the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend with patrols targeting impaired or intoxicated drivers, seat belt and child restraint violations, aggressive drivers, speeding violations, texting violations, and everyday traffic violations.  Troopers will practice zero tolerance with regard …
