Silvio V. Centofanti, 83, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of fifty-nine years to Rose T. (Regine) Centofanti. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Giovanni Marco and Grazia Marie (Centofanti) Centofanti. Silvio was a purchasing agent for the former Rolo Manufacturing Company of Providence. He was a US Marine Corps veteran serving during the Korean War. Silvio was a Charter Member of the Smithfield Elks Lodge # 2359. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving son Daniel M.
