'Get Out of Jail Free' Suspect Pleads Out — And Avoids Jail Time

Timothy Little, 24, pleaded no contest to a charge of vandalism stemming from his Sept. 1 arrest by Johnston Police.

The Johnston man who claimed to have a "get out of jail free card" pleaded no contest to one of the charges filed after his arrest on Sept. 1 — and did, in fact, avoid serving time in prison. According to online court records, Timothy Little, 24, didn't exactly "get out free," however — Judge Pamela Woodcock-Pfeiffer sentenced Little to a one-year suspended sentence and one years' probation. At his formal arraignment in Third District Court, Warwick, on Sept. 12, Little entered his plea to a misdemeanor count of vandalism brought by Johnston Police, who alleged that Little had kicked the plastic cover off an electrical socket inside the police station. A pair of North Kingstown men tried to steal car parts from an auto salvage yard. After a traffic stop and a pat-down, a passenger told police he “forgot” he had a baggie of marijuana on him. A bunch of other cars have been broken into, and finally, a South Kingstown woman was arrested for reckless …
