The office of RI Atty. Gen. Peter Kilmartin issued the following statement on Nov. 28, 2012. The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Christopher Peralta, 22, of 5 Parillo Circle, Johnston, and Cristian Rosario and Remy Santos of Providence with one count each of first degree robbery, one count of conspiracy, one count of using a firearm while in the commission of a crime of violence, and one count of carrying a carrying a firearm without a license. In addition, Rosario is charged with one count of eluding police and Santos and Peralta are each charged with one count of burglary. Rhode Island Atty. Gen. Peter Kilmartin announced this morning that a statewide grand jury has indicted a Johnston man and his wife on drug charges after they were arrested in May, 2011, for allegedly running an illegal gambling ring. Vincent R. Tallo and his wife, Helene, are scheduled for arraignment in Providence Superior Court on Feb. 29. In a statement released this morning, Kilmartin said that Vincent Tallo was indicted for possession of oxycodone, methadone, and marijuana with intent to deliver the drugs, and possession of a firearm while in possession of illegal drugs.
