Pell Tenants Enjoy 'It’s Still May' Breakfast
The Johnston Housing Authority held its annual May breakfast on May 31, complete with installation of new officers for the Pell Manor Residents Association and two state legislative grants.
Residents of Pell Manor sat down for the traditional May breakfast this year — on the very last day of May. Joined by Mayor Joseph Polisena, state Sen. Frank Lombardo and Rep. Stephen Ucci, Johnston Housing Authority Executive Director David M. aRusso, Town Councilwoman Eileen Fuoco, School Committee Member Robert Lafazia, the leadership team of the Forand Tenant’s Association, and members of the staff of the JHA, the crowd of more than 50 residents and friends dined on a full menu of breakfast favorites at Pell Manor. The weather cooperated with bright sunshine, and the morning held some pomp — and some surprises, as well.
