"Matchmaker Fair" For Businesses: The Rhode Island Small Business Administration presents its "Matchmaker Fair" beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Radisson Hotel in Warwick. Students in grades 6 through 12 meet to discuss reading selections each month.
Braving the cold weather on Wednesday, Jan. 19, a group of students met at the Marian J. Mohr library for this month's Reader's Lair program. This time, the discussion was on James Dashner's The Maze Runner, a dystopian young adult novel that follows Thomas, a boy who finds himself in the Maze of the title. Library Director Jon Anderson explained during an interview that the program welcomes students in grades 6 through 12, and that it's been a fairly popular activity. "It's for all ages, kids are given a choice between a couple of different titles. We have a kick off at the beginning of the school year and sometimes have crowds of up to 90 people," said Anderson.
