Joseph F. Butmarc: Army Reserve Veteran

Joseph F. (Abbatamarco) Butmarc, 71, passed away peacefully, Sunday Nov. 4, 2012 at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband for 47 years of Dorothy M. (Price) Butmarc. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Anthony and Bessie (Cardillo) Butmarc. Mr. Butmarc was a chemical operator for the Ciba-Geigy Co. for 20 years and the Clariant Co. for 20 years retiring in 2008. He was in the Army Reserve during the Vietnam era and was a drill instructor with the rank of E-7. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Ann D.
