Car Accident Leads To Charges: Johnston Police arrested David Silva, of North Providence, on one count of driving with a suspended license on Jan. 27 following a car accident on Greenville Avenue. A passenger in his vehicle was also arrested on an active court warrant. Ptlm. John DeAngelis reported that he found two cars on the westbound side of the road at about 3:30 p.m. Lisa Coutu, of Johnston, told DeAngelis that she had been approaching an intersection when the 1998 Nissan driven by Silva collided with her SUV. Both vehicles sustained damage; no injuries were reported. DeAngelis reported that a check on Silva's license showed it to be suspended; a check on his passenger, Brian Carosi, found that he had a court warrant for failure to …
