Anthony Albanese: Forman for BIF Industries

Anthony Albanese, 92, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012 at the Morgan Health Center. He was the husband of the late Loretta (Mattera) Albanese. Born in Providence, a son of the late Benedetto and Teresa (DiMundo) Albanese. He lived in Providence before moving to Johnston where he had lived for many years. Mr. Albanese was a Foreman for the former BIF Industries until retiring in 1985. In his youth, he served in a Civilian Conservation Corps Camp. He was a longtime member of the YMCA and he credited his longevity to his commitment to swimming three to four times a week. He is survived by his daughters, Loraine C.
