[VIDEO] Forand Residents Make Donation to 'Project Undercover'

Residents of the Aime J. Forand Housing for the Elderly and Disabled facility gave hand-knitted baby clothes and other needs to representatives of the Rhode Island nonprofit during a ceremony Monday.

  Some Rhode Islanders may have had Monday off with the Victory Day holiday, but members of the tenants association at Aime J. Forand Housing, managed by the Johnston Housing Authority, were in action. As part of their meeting, the tenants made a presentation of much-needed baby items to board members from Project Undercover, a Rhode Island nonprofit organization that helps families with children from 1 to 7 years of age. Forand residents Florence Patriarca and Gerry Giarusso knitted caps, booties, and sweaters, and other tenants pitched in to provide diapers and other items.
