I tried this restaurant for the first time tonight, and I will never order from this business again. My boyfriend, his roommates and I ordered a large cheese pizza to be delivered to RIC. To begin with, the first half of the pizza wasn't that appetizing. From just looking at it, the cheese looked overcooked, to the point that it appeared to have brown, crunchy spots here and there that looked like meat. Also, the crust was hard. By the time the four of us were onto our 2nd or 3rd pieces each, I bit into something hard. I thought it was a piece of my tooth, but didn't feel any pain so I spit out the object. It was a broken piece of a small black screw. We were shocked, and called Johnston Pizza back to complain and inform them of the incident. The employee on the phone told me that it was "impossible" and blamed it on the cheese manufacturer that they buy from. After a while, he finally agreed to send over a new pizza. Once the driver got there, he told me to bring down the leftover pizza. When my boyfriend gave him the box with the leftover 2 pieces, the driver refused to give us a new pizza because he thought we ate the rest of the pizza on him. Even after he showed him the screw as proof, he didn't believe him, and said that he couldn't give a new pizza to us because he would have to file a police report about the incident and file with the Department of Health. He basically didn't want to admit he was wrong at all. I will be reporting this. DON'T EAT HERE.

What happened to this landmark? The food is disgusting and the owner Bill is rude and rushes you on the phone! Now he has to leave reviews on his own business (Bill Gionis). Business must be bad! I've taken my business to This Guy's Pizza!
