[VIDEO] New Dog Park Opens in Johnston

Mayor Joseph Polisena and several local officials gathered at Woodlake Park on Saturday morning for the formal opening.

 

Some two years in the planning, the town's new dog park officially opened at Woodlake Park on Saturday, Sept. 15, with a ribbon-cutting by Mayor Joseph Polisena, state officials, and volunteers who helped make the park a reality.

Sen. Frank Lombardo (D-Dist. 25), Reps. Stephen Ucci (D-Dist. 42) and Deborah Fellela (D-Dist. 43), and Town Councilors Eileen Fuoco (D-Ward 1) and David Santilli (D-Ward 3) were among the elected officials attending the ceremony.
