Sign-Ups Begin for Mazzulla Tourney

Registrations are now available for the , scheduled for Aug. 2 at Triggs Golf Course in Providence.

Now in its 25th year, the tournament benefits a scholarship fund for student athletes.

Former Parks and Recreation Director Vin LaFazia originally came up with the idea of honoring the late Mr. Mazzulla, father of current Director Dan Mazzulla Jr.

Fees are $110 per person, with tee and green sponsorships available for $100. There are also golf-and-sponsorship packages available for $185.

Sign-ups are held at the Johnston Recreation Department office, located inside Memorial Park, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm and Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Phone: (401) 272-3460.
