Sign Up for Mohr Library's Summer Programs

The local library is hosting programs all summer for kids, teens, and adults.

 

Following last week's held at the Rhode Island State House, in Johnston is accepting registrations for its summer reading programs.

This year, the local library is offering programs for children and teens that include prizes, fun events, and performers all summer long — as well as a set of events for adults.

Registration for the summer reading programs — where kids track their reading and record their achievements — are free.

Downstairs in the Michael C. Fargnoli Children's Library, Bjorn the Magician is scheduled to perform on June 28 at 6:30 pm to kick off this summer's slate of performers.

The next teen event, to be held in the Andrew Greene Young Adult Room, is a showing of the movie "Coraline," scheduled for June 27 at 6:30 pm.

And for the adults, Mohr has scheduled a slate of interesting authors, book clubs, and presentations including tonight's .
