How 'Bout Some Chowda?

The Aime J. Forand Tenants Association held its annual Clambake on June 7.

 

The clambake and outing tradition continued at the Forand Circle facility of the in Thursday, as residents of the Aime J. Forand Tenant’s Association gathered for their annual clambake on a gorgeous afternoon.

Nearly 70 tenant gathered to share the excellent menu, which included lobster, chowder, steamers, and other barbecue favorites.

JHA Executive Director David M. aRusso praised the Forand Tenant’s Association in providing such opportunities for socializing.

“The JHA is pleased with the true team spirit exhibited by the tenant’s association. This group of enthusiastic seniors is incredibly motivated to host and sponsor enriching activities for the residents,” aRusso explained. “Aime J. Forand Tenant’s Association leadership team, headed by President Beverly Williams, is a force. They are ready, willing, and able to spearhead these great events, and in the end it is the residents who benefit.”

Said Williams: “It was somewhat challenging to pull this all day event together, but with team spirit, we did it! The only thing we could not control was the weather — and it is my feeling that the collective prayers for sunshine were heard and answered.”
