There's lots to do in the area this weekend — plus, the Pats continue their playoff run.

Bands In Bars:

  • Super Bad takes the stage at Balls Sports Bar and Grille on Putnam Pike on Friday at 9:30 p.m. Saturday night at 9:30, Balls hosts SpeakEasy. No cover. For more about the bands appearing at Balls, check out the schedule here.

At The Dunk:

The Providence Bruins are home for two games this weekend — Friday night at 7:05 p.m. against the Worcester Sharks and Sunday afternoon at 4:05 against the Springfield Falcons.

For The Whole Family:

The Rhode Island Convention Center hosts a Kids Fun Fair and Traveling Zoo on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $13 adults, free for kids under 12.

Football Fans:

The New England Patriots continue their playoff run Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. against the Baltimore Ravens. Watch on Saturday for our guide to local stores, restaurants, bars, and other places to get ready for the game.
