Local Memorial Weekend Service

Join Mayor Joseph Polisena, the Johnston  Police Department, the Rhode Island National Guard and other local groups for a  Memorial Day Weekend Service today, Sunday, May 29, 2011,  at 9 a.m. at the Johnston Memorial Park outdoor bandstand to honor and remember our local military heroes.

The program will include a Bell Ringing to honor 42 men killed in action in World War II, Korea and Vietnam.  A continental breakfast will follow.
