Join the Johnston Educational Foundation as it celebrates liberty and all of America’s heroes, past and present, at Liberty Fest today from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Johnston Memorial Park.
This live historical and interactive event will honor the 150-year anniversary (sesquicentennial) of the Civil War. The day will feature early American history with special consideration given to the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.
Local groups participating in today's Liberty Fest include the Marian J. Mohr Memorial Library, the Johnston Historical Society and the Johnston School Department.
