Johnston High School Homecoming 2011

is scheduled to celebrate Homecoming 2011 on Oct. 15 beginning with the annual parade and concluding with a football game between JHS and Chariho Regional High School.

The parade, featuring floats prepared by each high school class, is scheduled to step off at about 10 a.m. at Johnston High School, then proceed down Atwood Avenue to Hartford Avenue, then to Johnston Memorial Park, up Memorial Avenue, and back to the high school.

Beginning at 1:30 p.m., the Panthers are set to host the Chariho Chargers. Johnston (3-1 in D-II-A) heads into the game after a bye week, following a tough 42-36 loss to Central on Sept. 30. Chariho enters the game with a 4-1 record against D-II-A opponents.
