Family Winter Wildlife Walk

The Audubon Society of Rhode Island is hosting a variety of special programs for children this week during February school vacation.

Today children can join the Audubon Society at the Fort Nature Refuge in North Smithfield for a Winter Wildlife Walk for Families. Participants will walk the blue trail and look for signs of wildlife such as otter, deer and wild turkeys.  Please note that this program will be canceled if there is inclement weather such as heavy snow or icy trail conditions.

Program fee: $8.00 per member adult; $4 per member child; $12 per non-member adult/child pair; $6/each additional non-member.  Recommended for children ages 8 and older.
