The Audubon Society of Rhode Island is hosting a variety of special programs for children this week during February school vacation.
Today children can join the Audubon Society at Powder Mill Ledges Wildlife Refuge in Smithfield for Animal Clothes. Participants will learn all about how animals protect themselves from the weather and survive through all seasons. They will also get to meet a "live" animal visitor.
Program fee: $5.00 per member child; $6.00 per non-member child. Recommended for children ages 3 and older.
