Should've Let The Goat Stay: On this date in 1945, Chicago bar owner Billy "Goat" Sianis — they went pretty far for that nickname, eh? — was ejected from Wrigley Field for bringing his pet goat to a Cubs game. According to various reports, Sianis then placed a curse on the Cubs that they'd never again win the World Series. So far, the curse remains in place — it's 103 years and counting.
