What Advice Would You Give This Year's 9th Graders at Johnston High?

Hard to believe, but the Class of 2012 only a month and a half ago — and a new group of freshmen will begin walking the halls at JHS in about a month, on their way to becoming the Class of 2016.

And whether you're a recent graduate — or a "vintage" alum [Anyone else from the Class of '89? — Ed.] — you've no doubt gained some wisdom about your high school years.

Haven't we all, at one time or another, said to ourselves: "If I could have only told myself then what I know now...?"

Well, here's your chance — we're asking readers for their advice to the incoming class of freshmen at Johnston High School.

It can be insights about being a high school student generally, or you can offer a little "inside baseball" about JHS — the teachers to choose [or avoid], the easiest [or hardest] subjects, even the best [or worst] lunch items.
