Video: JHS Wins 2nd Title in D-II Baseball

Johnston High's varsity baseball squad completed a second consecutive sweep against the Prout School with a 7-1 victory over the Crusaders on June 14.

After playing a close game against The Prout School through five innings in the Division II state finals on June 14, the varsity baseball squad broke open the game with a six-run sixth inning, including senior co-captain Chris Pistacchio's 3-RBI triple, to help the Panthers to a 7-1 victory.

With the win, Johnston secured its second straight state championship and a place in high school history as the only back-to-back title winners.
