Students Decorate School Trees At Memorial Park
Johnston students brought their handmade ornaments to the park to decorate a tree for each school on Dec. 8.
In advance of tomorrow's holiday celebration at , students from local schools traveled to the park on Thursday to decorate the trees placed next to the veteran's pavilion, one for each elementary school.
Kids from and Schools took turns adding their handmade ornaments to the evergreens that were donated by Jacavone Garden Center.
The cold weather — temperatures were in the mid-30s by about 11 a.m. — didn't chill the students' enthusiasm in adding their colorful ornaments to the trees.
