St. Rocco Takes 1st In Midget Division

The local Catholic school's girls' basketball team earned a playoff berth with their 27-25 win over St. Peter's School of Warwick.

The girls Midget basketball team took first place in a recent tournament held at Immaculate Conception School over the school vacation. St. Rocco's beat St. Peter's from Warwick in the Championship game, 27-25. 

St. Rocco completed the regular season as League Champions in the Catholic Athletic League's Midget D-2 North Division with a record of 12-0. They begin playoffs this week.
