Snow Storms Stall Sports Schedules
Three high school matches have been rescheduled into next week because of winter weather.
The recent snowstorms didn't just cancel classes at ; they also threw the previous sports schedules into a bit of chaos.
Co-Athletic Director Gary Mazzie said coaches from the other schools — including Scituate, East Greenwich, and the participants in a scheduled wrestling match — have been cooperative in finding agreeble make-up dates.
"Most of them are also teachers, so we've had some phone calls at odd hours, but we manage," Mazzie said during a phone interview Thursday morning.

Here are the games, their original dates, and the rescheduled slate:
- Girls' basketball: Originally set for Feb. 1, the game against Scituate is now scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. at Johnston High School.
- Boys' basketball: The Feb. 2 game has been moved to Feb. 10 at East Greenwich High School.
- Wrestling: This match was moved from Feb. 2 to a new date of Feb. 14 at Johnston High School.
