From theme dress-up days to Saturday night's Homecoming Dance, here's the low-down of what's happening this week at JHS.
If you've got a student at Johnston High School who's looking for old flannel shirts, holiday decorations, or a tuxedo to wear to school, here's why: It's Spirit Week.
Every day this week is a different theme for JHS students, and the spirit builds until Saturday's big events, including the parade of floats, the Homecoming breakfast, the big football game, and the Homecoming Dance.

- Monday: Class Pattern Day
- Tuesday: Hillbilly/Hick Day
- Wednesday: 'Tis the Season Day
- Thursday: Formal Wear Day
- Friday: Blue and White Day
Homecoming Events
Friday, Oct. 26:
- Pep Rally in the JHS gymnasium, 12 noon
Saturday, Oct. 27:
- Class floats arrive, 8:30 am
- Homecoming Parade, 10 am
- Homecoming Breakfast, 11 am to noon
- Homecoming Football Game [JHS vs. Warwick Vets], 1:30 pm
- Homecoming Dance, 8 to 11 pm
