HS Sports: Panthers Play at 3 pm Saturday
The Johnston-Westerly match-up in the Division II final four is set for 3 pm today at Pierce Field in East Providence.
After several earlier games were rescheduled because of rain — and with graduation ceremonies for a number of the schools involved — the Division II baseball final four is set to start today at 3 pm at Pierce Field in East Providence.
The previous schedule released by the Rhode Island Interscholastic League indicated the semifinals were scheduled to start last night.

Following their , the Panthers are set to face Westerly High School, the number-6 seed in the division and winner of Region 2. Johnston's opponent in the 2011 state finals, the Prout School, awaits the winner of this morning's scheduled 10:30 am contest between Narragansett and West Warwick to learn who their semifinal opponent will be.
Game 2 in the best-of-three semifinal series is set for Sunday at Pierce Field, with tie-breakers, if necessary, scheduled for Monday.
