Johnston Historical Society Guided Tour And High Tea

The Johnston Historical Society hosts a guided tour to Hipses Rock, a boundary marker mentioned in the original Providence deed, and a High Tea at the newly-renovated Mabel Sprague House at 216 Morgan Ave., beginning at 12 p.m. on Nov. 5.

John McNiff from the Roger Williams National Memorial is scheduled to guide the walk to Hipses Rock at noon, in a joint presentation of the Johnston Historical Society and the Neutaconkanut Conservancy. Free, but donations will be accepted.

Then, at 2 p.m., the Mabel Sprague House is set to host a High Tea and first look at the recently updated house. $20; reservations required. Call Kit Rhodes at (401) 231-7523 for tickets.
