Celebrate Homecoming 2011 At Johnston High School

The annual parade is scheduled to step off this morning at 10 a.m. at the high school.

The annual rite of Homecoming at Johnston High School — so called after the tradition of welcoming back alumni and former residents — kicks off this morning at 10 a.m. with the parade of floats created by JHS students.

This year's route starts at JHS, heads down Atwood Avenue to Hartford Avenue, turns right onto Hartford, and continues to Memorial Park. At the park, the procession will continue on Memorial Avenue, ending back at the high school.

It's certain to be a wild time, so get out there early and show your support for our local high school.
