Video: Polisena Uses TV Show to Build Support for Chafee Bills
Johnston Mayor Joseph Polisena taped the new version of his "Keeping You Informed" cable access program on May 10.
As Gov. Lincoln Chafee's package of municipal relief legislation awaits further hearings at the State House, Johnston Mayor Joseph Polisena amplified his support for the bills through his cable access TV program, which he taped in May 10.
The show, called "Keeping You Informed" and recorded at PEG RI-TV in Providence, follows Polisena's organization of a .
Joined by officials from East Greenwich, Warwick, Westerly, North Providence, Lincoln, Cumberland, and North Smithfield, Polisena hosted the 30-minute program and gave each community leader a chance to voice their support of the governor's proposals.

Scheduled air dates are:
- Fridays starting tonight at 9:30 p.m. on Interconnect C (Channel 15).
- Sundays at 8 p.m. and Mondays beginning Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. on Channel 17;
- Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. on statewide Interconnect A (Channel 13).
