RIDOT Lists Traffic, Construction Schedule

The state Department of Transportation posts its weekly list of projects and traffic pattern changes scheduled through Friday, July 22.

Rte. 146:

Lincoln: Rte. 146 NB and SB, from just south of Sherman Ave. to Rte. 116 (George Washington Highway), alternating lane closures for drainage work, Sunday-Thursday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Lincoln: Rte. 146 NB & SB, at the Wilbur Rd. overpass, alternating lane closures for bridge inspection, Monday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Rte. 116:

Smithfield: Rte. 116 NB & SB (Pleasant View Ave.), from Rte. 44 (Putnam Pike) to Rte. 104 (Farnum Pike), right lane closed for curbing and sidewalk work, Sunday-Thursday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Rte. 37:

Warwick: Rte. 37 EB & WB, from Exit 3 (Pontiac Ave.) to Exit 4 (I-95), alternating lane closures for bridge inspection, Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Right lane closures on Exit 4 ramps also are possible.

Interstates 95 and 195:

Providence: I-95 NB & SB, from Exit 19 (NB: I- 195, SB: Eddy St./Borden St.) to Exit 22 (Memorial Blvd.), alternating lane closures for bridge work, Sunday-Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The work also will require alternating lane closures on the on-ramp for Exit 20 from I-95 SB to I-195 EB, and on the I-195 WB on-ramp to I-95 SB.

Interstate 95:

Pawtucket: I-95 NB & SB, from Exit 27
(Downtown) to Exit 28 (School St.), alternating lane
closures for bridge construction, Sunday-Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. The left or right lane will be closed at 9 p.m. and the middle lane will be closed at 11 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m.

Warwick/West Warwick: I-95 NB & SB at Exit 8 (Rte. 2), lanes shifted to the left. Use caution entering and exiting.
