Revised Johnston School Budget Proposal For 2011-12
This version of the school department's spending plan for fiscal 2012 was released on March 16, 2011.
The attached document is the revised proposed budget for fiscal 2012.
Members of the school committee made changes to the original proposal, which lowered the anticipated increase to about $469,000. At a budget workshop on March 16, the committee identified about $60,000 more in possible cuts.
A third budget workshop is scheduled for March 22 at 6 p.m. at Ferri Middle School, with a vote set for 7 p.m. Once the budget is approved, the school board will present the spending plan to Mayor Joseph M. Polisena.
