Ordinance 2011-7: Proposed Fiscal 2012 Budget
The Johnston Town Council is scheduled to review the mayor's budget proposal on June 23 at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Court.
Attached to this article is Johnston Town Ordinance 2011-7, an outline of the municipal budget proposed by Mayor Joseph M. Polisena and scheduled for town council review on June 23 at 7 p.m. at the .
Under the mayor's proposed spending plan, the town budget would reach $89.56 million, a roughly $1.4 million — or 1 percent — increase over the current budget.
Schools would receive the same amount from the town as in the current budget year — $37.1 million — while state aid to education is expected to increase by about $700,000, to $10 million.
