I urge people to look at Johnston, the State of RI and the general state of the USA and ask if they're satisfied with that they have. If they're not satisfied, they should be voting for people other than the incumbents. I will not be voting for any incumbents this year. I believe our town, state, and the country is in shambles. At the town level, we've seen our property taxes raised year after year while the quality of services decline. The exception to the tax raises is this year. Coincidence that its an election year? Our schools are mediocre, roads are mess, and much of the property in the center of Johnston is vacant. RI has one of the highest costs of living in the country, we have one of the highest unemployment rates in the nation, the housing market is weak, and the state has been ranked as one of the worst places to do business. Spending continues to go up year after year. Federally we have the highest deficient in history, high unemployment number, skyrocketing welfare rates, we've been in a recession for years, and no plan to get us out of it. We've seen what the incumbents have to offer. I'm willing to give just about anyone else a try. It can't get any worse.

Robert, we actually did have a tax increase this year. Remember the sewer maintenance fee of $110? This is actually a new tax to drain more money from our pockets.
