Woman Charged after Assaulting Boyfriend with Razor

Police charged the 23-year-old woman with assault.

Johnston Police charged a 23-year-old woman with assault after she allegedly cut her boyfriend with a razor blade.

According to police, officers were dispatched to Bianca Jo Martinelli's house at 58 Walnut St. last Monday and found her boyfriend outside banging on the window.

Police said the boyfriend was covered with blood and had a cut on his arm.

The boyfriend told police that he used a cell phone to call police but his girlfriend took the phone from him and told him to "clean up" before the police go there.

Police said Martinelli was being held at the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston after she was unable to post $25,000 bail.
