Rhode Island State Police reported the arrests of two Johnston residents in unrelated cases.

Troopers from the Rhode Island State Police recently made two arrests of Johnston residents, one for driving under the influence and the other for failing to appear at a court hearing on an unrelated DUI charge.

On Monday night, state police officers arrested Constance Lima, 44, of 20 Pezzullo St., on an active arrest warrant issued on July 12 by Sixth District Court, Providence.

According to online court records, Lima failed to appear for a cost review hearing held July 11.

She pleaded no contest on May 18 to one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence brought by State Police; as part of the plea agreement, Associate Judge Anthony Capraro suspended Lima's license for three month and ordered her to pay fines and court costs totalling $1,225.

In the other case, state troopers arrested Anthony Sajkowski, 48, of 30 John St., on one count of DUI, first offense, after an officer stopped his car on I-95 in West Greenwich.

Officers brought Sajkowski to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was formally charged and held overnight.
