On Dec., 16 at 11:45 a.m., Troopers charged Matthew Olivieri, 40, of 15 Berclay St., Johnston, with domestic simple assault after the alleged victim filed a complaint at State Police headquarters on Dec. 15.

At 8:19 p.m. on Dec. 23, Troopers arrested Sean Needham, 22, of 6 Pine Lane, Johnston, on a 3rd Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court on a Johnston charge of domestic assault. Troopers arrested Needham after pulling him over on Putnam Pike in Smithfield. Needham was transported to State Police headquarters before being released into the custody of family members.
