State Police Arrest Johnston Man on Warrant

Troopers arrested Raymond Berarducci, 20, of Johnston, on a warrant issued by Sixth District Court.

 

A Johnston man awaits arraignment on a driving with a suspended license charge after Rhode Island State Police officers arrested him on an outstanding warrant on Monday.

Troopers stopped the car driven by Raymond Berarducci, 20, of 17 Vacca St., on Rt. 44 in North Providence at about 1:45 pm, according to the State Police website.

A check of Berarducci's record found an active warrant for failure to appear at a previously scheduled court hearing on the suspended license charge brought by State Police.

Officers brought Berarducci to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing, then transported him to the Adult Correctional Institutions, Cranston, until a scheduled arraignment on Friday.
