State Police also reported that troopers arrested Christina Monk, 29, of 25 Riverside Drive, on May 11 on a Second District Court warrant for failure to appear at a court hearing.

According to online records, the warrant was issued in 2004 after Monk did not appear in court to make a payment toward court costs ordered after she pleaded no contest to a domestic simple assault charge brought by Portsmouth Police.

Troopers stopped Monk's car on Rte. 146 in North Smithfield, and following processing at the Scituate Barracks, brought Monk to Sixth District Court, Providence.

Monk made a payment to the court, and the warrant was cancelled.
