RI State Police Make One Johnston Arrest Last Weekend
The following arrest was reported by the Rhode Island State Police. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Rhode Island State Troopers arrested Arthur Peters, 32, of 20 Park Street on Sunday around 10:10 p.m. on a bench warrant charge out of the Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for failure to appear to court on the original charge of possession of marijuana. The arrest was the result of troopers checking on a walker on Chalkstone Avenue in Providence.
Peters was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.
