RI State Police Arrest Log: Warrant, DUI

Rhode Island State Police reported the arrests of two Johnston men in unrelated cases this week.

On Sunday, troopers from the Lincoln Woods Barracks stopped the car driven by Steven Wahl, 42, of 204 Greenville Ave., and arrested him on an active warrant issued by Providence Superior Court for violating an unspecified court order.

Officers transported Wahl to the Adult Correctional Institutions, Cranston, to await a court appearance.

Lincoln Woods troopers also reported the arrest of Gary Mayoh, 57, of 2 Red Oak Drive, following a traffic stop on I-195 West in Providence.

Officers charged Mayoh with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Information about a formal arraignment had not been posted by presstime.
