Teolis allegedly admitted to having hypodermic needles and a small amount of heroin in his possession, and asked Babbit "not to arrest [him] before Christmas."

After arresting Teolis, Babbitt reported that he searched the car and found two small brown vials. When he asked Teolis whether they were steroids, Babbitt reported, Teolis replied that he didn't know, and that he had "found them in the town of Burrillville."

Teolis's car was towed from the scene; Teolis was arraigned at headquarters and released on $5,000 personal recognizance until a scheduled Feb. 22 court hearing.
