Police Investigating Counterfeit Bills at CVS

The suspect is a black man between 25 and 35.

Johnston Police are looking for a man who allegedly used 10 fake $100 bills to buy Visa gift cards at the Hartford Avenue CVS recently.

The bills did not raise any red flags at the store but a test by the United States Secret Service proved the bills are in fact fake, police said.

The incident occurred on May 25. A black man wearing a turquoise polo shirt walked into the store and paid for two $500 gift cards with five $100 bills for each one.
