Olney Street House Torn Down; Arson Investigated

Officials are investigating an apparent arson at 12 S. Olney St.

The house at 12 South Olney St. yesterday afternoon was a charred shell.

Crews were on scene getting ready to tear the house down yesterday afternoon.

The fire was apparently caused by arson and investigators are trying to track down who started the blaze.

The fire was reported around 2 a.m. Monday.

Investigators said the fire appears to have started at the rear of the house. Crews battled the blaze for about 45 minutes.

One firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation at the hospital.
