NBC10: Providence Man Killed at Johnston Work Site

Leonardo Estrada, 23, of Providence, apparently died after hitting a live electrical wire with a tree trimmer.

 

A Providence man was apparently killed this afternoon after hitting a live electrical wire with equipment he was using to trim a tree, NBC10 reported.

The television station quoted as identifying the victim as Leonardo Estrada, 23, of Providence.

Estrada was working on Country View Drive just after noon when he apparently touched a wire carrying 12,500 volts, the station noted.
